CDO is one of The Sponsors of “Impossible” Project

On February 20 “Impossible” project was held at Ramada Hotel-Sulaymaniyah, which is a fashion show for people with special needs.

The idea of the project and designing the clothes were by Sardonia Ahmad and Hemn Hadi.
35 models with special needs participated in the fashion show. Civil Development Organization always continues to support people with special needs in the society and was one of the main sponsors of the project.

At the end of the show general director of CDO was granted appreciation award for supporting the project.

CDO Provides Assistance to a Woman Who Gave Birth to 7 Babies at Once

Today on February 17, Civil Development Organization-CDO provided assistance for the women who gave birth to 7 babies at once.

“CDO was the first organization that thought about providing needs for us while our financial capability is limited, and I can’t provide enough for my children,” the father said.

On February 12, at a hospital in Baqubah City a woman gave birth to 7 babies at once, after a while two of her babies passed away and 5 of them survived.

CDO Visits Soz Mental Hospital

On February14, Civil Development Organization staff visited Soz Mental Hospital of General Directorate of Health, as one of the activities of combating Gender-Based Violence which is a project implemented by Civil Development Organization-CDO in partnership with UNFPA. They distributed a number of dignity kits to the beneficiaries of the hospital.

At the end both sides discussed about their continued collaboration to offer more services to the hospital by CDO.

Playing Movie for Children

On February 11, Kalar Community Center staff played an animation movie “Toy Story” to 25 IDP and host community children between 10 to12 years old, to bring them joy and entertainment. The duration of the movie was 90 minutes.

Kalar Community Center is a project implemented by Civil Development Organization-CDO in partnership with UNHCR.
