Kurd Fine Art Association in Gothenburg appreciated Civil Development Organization- CDO.
On December 7, the Community Center of Sulaymaniyah which is a project implemented by Civil Development Organization-CDO in partnership with UNHCR, supported a number of young refugees by providing equipment for 19 participants of sewing, cutting and designing clothes course, in order to support them get job opportunities and obtain their financial resources. In the last few months, the Community Center conducted sewing, cutting and designing clothes course for refugees of both gender. The course lasted for two months and sewing expert Hamdush Zakaria Ibrahim, who is a Syrian refugee, delivered the course. At the end certificates of participation were granted to the participants.
On December 4 and 5, Civil Development Organization-CDO in partnership with UNICEF distributed winter clothes to the children of Arbat and Tazade Camps
Community Center which is a project implemented by Civil Development Organization-CDO in partnership with UNHCR, opened a number of training courses including sewing, beauty salon, Mobile and air conditioner repairing for IDPs and host community of Piramagrun and Kalar.
On December 31, both Kalar and Piramagrun Community Centers provided some equipment to the participants in order to support them to start their own small business and obtain financial resources. In near future the participants will start their own business.
On December 25, Civil Development Organization-CDO in partnership with UNICEF distributed approximately 5000 winter clothing packages to IDP children at Ashti IDP Camp.
Tomorrow nearly 4100 packages will distribute to children of Alwand1, Alwand2, Qoratu and Nazrawa camps.
